Switzerland took the last, 25th place in the ranking of the most hospitable countries in Europe, compiled according to the results of a study conducted by the German travel portal Holidu.

Its experts assessed hospitality according to seven criteria: the number of tourists who visited the country in a year; the knowledge of the English language by the population; friendliness towards families with children; helpfulness and assistance offered to visitors; the quality of service in a taxi; reviews of the 50 best tourist attractions and services provided by local residents; the risk of pickpocketing and a sense of security.

Spain, Portugal and Turkey are among the top three in terms of hospitality in the Holidu rating.
