Tourists are not accepted in Sochi yet due to the Covid-19 pandemic. However, if the situation changes, bookings at the Rosa Khutor resort may begin on June 8, and from July 1 it is planned to gradually open hotels, cafes, restaurants and shops. At the same time, representatives of the resort emphasize that the final opening date depends on the decision of the authorities.
According to Yuri Kolobov, Executive Director of the Rosa Khutor Resort, non-cash means of payment, safe door handles in guest rooms and public areas, security screens at guest reception desks and other public areas will become elements of a contactless environment. At the hotel entrances, both for guests and employees, it is planned to install disinfection barriers - fine dispersion of a safe disinfectant. All staff will undergo weekly clinical laboratory testing in accordance with the requirements of the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and will be provided with all necessary personal protective equipment.
At arrivals and registration in the resort hotels non-contact measurements of the temperature of guests will be carried out, disinfected electronic plastic cards will be given. Antiseptics will be available in all major public areas and rooms, regular wet cleaning with disinfectants will be provided. The rooms have interchangeable mattress covers and air conditioning filter cleaning. The hotel restaurants will retain the buffet format, taking into account social distance and the safe location of service stations with prepared dishes.
Breakfast hours are planned to be extended in order to avoid crowding. At the same time, hotel restaurants will continue to work on an a la carte basis for lunch and dinner, taking into account all the necessary requirements.
As noted by Yuri Kolobov, a special audience study was conducted at the resort, which confirmed that people after a long period of self-isolation literally need a reboot. Therefore, it is expected that 80-90% of the number of rooms of the Rosa Khutor resort will be occupied.
