Russian government to allocate 1 billion rubles for the development of ski resorts

The government's press service reported that 1 billion rubles will be allocated additionally to subsidize the program of preferential loans in the tourism sector.

"The funds will be used for concessional lending to investors implementing projects to create infrastructure for ski resorts. We are talking about the development of large resorts designed for at least 500 thousand visitors per year. This indicator should be achieved two years after the commissioning of the facility," the message says.

It is expected that this decision will help attract new investors to the industry and stimulate the creation of high-quality tourism infrastructure.

The program for providing preferential loans in the field of tourism was launched in 2021 and initially extended to the construction and reconstruction of hotels and multifunctional complexes. Last year, the parameters of this program were expanded. It included the construction of amusement parks, water parks and infrastructure for ski resorts.
