The press service of the Russian Geographical Society announced the launch of a special project "Snow Watch". This winter, its participants will be able to feel like real scientists and monitor the formation of snow and ice cover in different regions of Russia.
The participants of the special project will have access to informative lectures from phenologists and scientists. They will be told what snow is like, how the snow cover protects the earth and many other interesting facts.
Detailed instructions have been prepared for the participants of the "Snow Watch" with information on how to collect and prepare data. The project will last until March 15, 2024.
