Russian President Vladimir Putin has approved a list of instructions following a meeting on the creation of federal all-year resorts, which was held in late March. This is stated in the document published on the Kremlin website.
In particular, the Russian government needs to approve the federal project "Five Seas and Lake Baikal" within the framework of the national tourism project, which provides for the creation of federal all-year resorts.
This concerns recreation areas on the coasts of the Azov, Baltic, Caspian, Black, and Japanese Seas, as well as on Lake Baikal (a resort on the territory of Buryatia and the Irkutsk Region).
In addition, the government is instructed to approve a federal project for the production of domestic products for the tourism industry.
The Cabinet of Ministers should also ensure the creation of a unified digital platform in the field of tourism. This resource,in particular, will provide for the collection, storage, processing and transmission of data about objects of show, hotels and other accommodation facilities for travelers, catering facilities, the work of guides, etc.
