The Days of Pushkin Poetry and Russian Culture will be held in the Pskov Region from June 6 to 9.
The holiday is dedicated to the 225th anniversary of the poet's birth, and it will unite many creative people around it.These include actors and musicians who are widely known both in Russia and abroad. This is reported on the festival website.
"Poetry and music, theater and art laboratories, quests and street performances, dances and interactive playgrounds for children - in the festival program you will definitely find an event that will be remembered for many years to come," the organizers say.
The main events will take place on the territory of the Mikhailovskoye Museum-Reserve in the Pushkinogorsk District.Some events are planned in Pskov.
The official opening of the Days of Pushkin Poetry and Russian Culture will take place on June 8. On this day, in Mikhailovskoye, which was the family estate of the poet's mother, there will be a performance by the Mariinsky Theater Symphony Orchestra and soloists of the Mariinsky Theater Opera under the direction of Valery Gergiev, who will perform fragments and arias from operas by Russian composers written on Pushkin's plots.
The festival program also includes performances by musicians, actors, folk ensembles, poets and readers, theater groups.In addition, guests of the holiday will see a drummers' show, visit exhibitions, take part in Pushkin processions,excursions, art walks and much more.
A full count has already been conducted in 112 municipalities of the Republic of Bulgaria. The census of nests in the rest of the country will continue in the summer of this year.
