A third of all travelers in the Russian Far East choose Primorsky Krai. The number of tourist trips to the region in the three quarters of 2023 reached 3.1 million. It is expected that by the end of the year the number of tourists visiting Primorye will amount to 3.5 million people. This was reported by the tourist portal of the region.
"33% of all trips to the Russian Far East are to Primorsky Krai, which makes us the leaders in tourist traffic among the regions of the Far Eastern Federal District (Far Eastern Federal District). We are always glad to have guests, we have something to show in order to leave pleasant memories of a visit to Primorye forever with people," Arseny Krepsky, head of the Primorsky Territory Tourism Agency, said in a statement.
As the portal notes, earlier, on the sidelines of the Russia exhibition and forum, the head of the region Oleg Kozhemyako spoke about the advantages of Primorye for investors, one of which is the unique nature that allows tourism to develop.
"Seaside coves, beaches, warm sea, ecology open up great prospects for our potential investors. Two years ago, tourism in Primorsky Krai was limited to July and August. Today, starting in May and until the end of October, all camp sites are 100% full," the travel portal quotes the governor.
