Pollock Festival opens in Primorye in May

Pollock Festival "Oh! Mega Taste!" will be held from May 18 to June 2 in restaurants of the Far East, and from May 24 to May 26, the street part of the gastro festival will take place. This was announced by one of the organizers of the event, the Primorye Tourist Information Center on the Visit Primorye portal.

"The fact that pollock is not a fish for cats, residents and guests of Vladivostok were able to verify this in May 2023, when a street festival "Oh! Mega Taste!". It was attended by 10 regions of Russia, 35 restaurants and cafes, 32,000 pollock dishes were sold, and about 83,000 people visited the festival site itself. The team of chefs has shown and proved that you can cook delicious dishes from pollock, including at the level of haute cuisine," the message says.

And on March 30, the organizers promise a real gastronomic presentation of the region in the House of Russian Cuisine at the site of the international exhibition and forum "Russia". The achievements and plans of the "Oh!" gastrofestival will be presented there. Mega Taste!".

"A team of leading chefs from the Primorsky Territory will hold master classes and tastings of Far Eastern cuisine, which will be based on pollock," the message says.
