Experts at Moscow Domodedovo Airport have noted an increase in the number of passengers with limited mobility choosing to fly DME.

In 11 months of 2023, more than 60,000 passengers with limited mobility used the airport's services, which is 13% higher than the same indicator in 2022.

A specialized service for passengers with reduced mobility is working to improve conditions for passengers of this category in the air harbor, which provides travelers with free escort.

Every passenger with limited mobility can use its services around the clock and get help with the necessary procedures, both upon departure and upon arrival at the airport. To arrange an escort, you must contact the airline or contact the airline's PRM service directly. Also, for the convenience of passengers, there are buttons for calling employees at the entrance groups of the terminal and when moving from the covered parking lot P2 to the terminal.

In addition, passengers with disabilities and their accompanying persons can use the airport parking lots free of charge. The air harbor website is adapted for the visually impaired.

Domodedovo was the first airport in Russia to introduce an induction system that allows passengers with hearing loss to familiarize themselves with the messages of the warning system in all major areas of the airport.
