Norilsk Nickel has created a portal "Preserving Ecosystems", in which it intends to talk about the state of biodiversity in the regions of the company's activities – on the Kola Peninsula, Taimyr and the Trans-Baikal Territory.
Vice President for Ecology and Industrial Safety Stanislav Seleznev commented on the launch of the portal: "We plan to update it annually, based on the statistical data accumulated for each new year, talk about new projects and inform about changes taking place with ecosystems. We will also post other important information about nature and its biodiversity for our stakeholders: everything that will be reliably confirmed by the research conducted by Norilsk Nickel with the involvement of the most authoritative scientific institutions."
