New Cycling Route to Connect Curonian and Baltic Spit in Kaliningrad Region

A new cycling route will be created in the Kaliningrad region. As the Russian State Expertise reported on its website, the project for the second phase of the construction of a cycle path in the region's coastal recreational zone has received a positive conclusion.

The route will run along the Baltic Sea coast from the Curonian Spit to the Baltic Spit. "According to the project, the route runs from the village of Primorye, Svetlogorsk urban district, to the embankment of the city of Baltiysk. The length of the cycle path will be 54.3 kilometers. Along the route, 12 rest areas for cyclists will be equipped. There will be tables, benches, parking, and bicycle repair stands," the message says.
