The Roszapovedtsentr of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Russian Federation will present three thematic days at the XVII Wildlife Festival “Golden Turtle”, which will be held in Moscow from October 28 to December 10. Employees of protected areas in different regions of the country will talk about their work, demonstrate unique footage of the most remote corners of Russia’s wild nature, answer questions from viewers, and conduct environmental quizzes and master classes. Roszapovedtsentr reported this on its website.

So, on November 4, the program of the day will be called “In unity is our strength! The unique nature of Russia: it is commanded to love.” Guests will learn about what protected areas are, as well as about those who preserve the natural attractions of Russia.

“Days dedicated to traveling through protected areas are a constant success among visitors to the Golden Turtle. Therefore, the program of the second thematic day, which will take place on November 18, will be called “The route is built: discovering protected Russia.” Festival guests will learn first-hand about the most interesting tourism offers in specially protected natural areas from Kaliningrad to Kamchatka,” the statement says.

The final day of the Roszapovedtsentr program at the Golden Turtle festival will take place on December 2 and will be called “Incredible, but true: an amazing nature reserve.” On this day, viewers will learn about the records of the reserve system and the most amazing natural phenomena of the protected world.

“Popularizing knowledge about the nature of one’s native country is an opportunity not only to strengthen the environmental protection industry, but also to form a national idea that will unite people around undeniable values. Love for one’s native nature is the only way to revive true patriotism and true love for one’s Motherland,” noted the head of the Roszapovedtsentr Daria Matsuk.
