The children of every third resident of Russia surveyed had a vacation at the dacha this summer – 33%, the same number spent their holidays at home, according to the results of a survey conducted by the SuperJob portal.
The study showed that 20% of respondents sent their children to the Black Sea, 9% – to a summer camp. Seven percent of schoolchildren traveled around the country, 3% went abroad, and another 2% visited summer camps. 9% of parents had children resting in other places: in a sanatorium, a sports camp, with relatives.
"This year, fewer parents have left school children at home for the whole summer than a year ago. Russians chose holidays on the Black Sea coast and out of town for their children a little more often," SuperJob experts note.
1,600 parents from all districts of the country took part in the survey.
