More than a thousand spotted seal cubs were born in the southern Primorye

The press service of the Land of the Leopard National Park announced the completion of the counting of large squirrels in the Far Eastern Marine Reserve. The recent breeding season brought 1,239 baby seals, some of which have already begun adulthood in protected waters.

Larga is the only species of marine mammals that breeds in the Far Eastern Marine Reserve. Every winter, hundreds of individuals from all over the Far East gather in protected waters to leave offspring. Breeding takes place until April on the shores of the Rimsky-Korsakov archipelago. There is almost no human here, nature is untouched, and animals have enough food.

Scientists note that the dynamics of the larg birth rate in the reserve retains positive indicators.The specialists managed to shoot cubs of different ages on a professional camera.
