Foreign citizens planning a trip to Libya can now obtain an electronic visa. Starting from March 21, the country's authorities, represented by the Tripoli-based Government of National Unity, provided such an opportunity.

In addition, from May 1, foreign workers working in the country will be able to request an online work visa to Libya.

As noted, this innovation will make it easier to issue visas, minimize numerous bureaucratic delays and violations, and streamline the process of legalizing expats in Libya.

There are actually two governments in Libya: the Cabinet in the east of the country, approved by Parliament, and the Government of National Unity led by Abdel Hamid Dbeiba in the capital.
