The press service of the Ministry of Economic Development reported that from December 25, citizens can drive a snowmobile, ATV and other all-terrain vehicles on the basis of a driver's license of category A and B1 without additional conditions. Tourists who have driver's licenses of categories B, C and D, ballet must undergo mandatory instruction. At the same time, they will not be able to travel on public roads.
It is expected that the new rules will expand the opportunities for the development of outdoor activities and allow legalizing the business of renting such vehicles. It is expected that the initiative will also contribute to the development of ski resorts and the emergence of new snowmobile routes.
"Previously, to control a snowmobile, it was necessary to obtain a tractor driver's license, which was issued after a course of study and passing exams," the press service noted.
