According to the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) in its Telegram channel, the cotobuses will enter the route on March 16. In fact, these are converted Toyota APM cars - low-speed electric vehicles that were originally created for the Tokyo Olympics.
"Such a vehicle can carry up to five passengers. In total, five low-speed cars will run through the Ghibli park," ATOR noted.
The catbuses have already been tested before the official launch. They will be paid for - a ticket for an adult will cost 1,000 yen (about 600 rubles), and for children from 4 years old to elementary school - half as much.
The amusement park was opened in 2022, it is dedicated to animated films released at the famous Japanese studio Ghibli. Here you can find many references to the works of the famous director Hayao Miyazaki. For example, the same Catbus is a character from the popular animated film "My Neighbor Totoro".
