Hong Kong is poised to experience a remarkable surge in tourism during its annual “Hong Kong Winter Fest” from November 24, 2023, to January 1, 2024.
This year’s event, enhanced by the debut of the “Winter Harbourfront Pyrotechnics,” promises to attract a significant number of visitors with its spectacular festive displays. The pyrotechnic shows, scheduled for three consecutive weekends and the Christmas holidays starting December 9, will feature festive icons embellishing the iconic Hong Kong skyline.
Hong Kong Tourism Board Executive Director Mr Dane Cheng highlighted the city’s rich Christmas atmosphere, emphasizing the anticipated boost in tourism due to the WinterFest’s unique offerings, including the new pyrotechnics display and the giant Christmas Tree. These attractions, along with novel experiences at Hong Kong Disneyland and Ocean Park, are expected to significantly contribute to the city’s visitor numbers.
