The press service of the Ministry of Economic Development reported that Russia and Indonesia have agreed to launch regular group tours to Moscow and Kazan. Representatives of more than 120 Indonesian travel agencies got acquainted with the presentation of the tourist potential of the Russian capital and took part in b2b meetings.

Regular group trips of Indonesian tourists to Russia are expected to start in February 2024. This year, Indonesia was included in the list of countries whose citizens can apply for an electronic visa to Russia.

The report notes that by the end of the year it is planned to create an interdepartmental working group for the development of tourism between Russia and Indonesia. Its activities will be aimed at promoting tourism products, bringing standards closer in the tourism sector and creating comfortable conditions for tourists.
