The Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation has announced the launch of the "Family Travels" video contest about trips around Russia. Participants will need to edit a video with a story about the trips they have taken and are planning to take in the Year of the Family. The video should be no longer than three minutes.
Applications will be accepted from June 1 to August 31. You can tell both about an independent trip and about a tour purchased from a tour operator, but it must be completed since January 1, 2024. The results of the competition will be announced in September on the Day of Tourism.
The best videos will be evaluated by an expert jury. The winning family will be awarded a week-long tour to Sochi. The families that take second and third place will have the opportunity to go to Anapa and St. Petersburg for 7 days and 4 days, respectively. All tours will include travel to the place of rest. The prize can be used within a year from the announcement of the competition results.
It is expected that thanks to the competition, families with children will see new interesting opportunities for travel,discover new destinations and attractions for themselves. The routes that the participants will tell about can become an example for other families on how to spend time together in an interesting and informative way.
