The press service of the Primorsky Territory government reported that residents of Russian regions this year will be able to go on an unusual tour to the DPRK, prepared especially for Children's Day.
The tour will last from May 31 to June 3. A rich program is planned for each day, which will allow you to get acquainted with the culture and historical heritage of the DPRK.
In particular, tourists will see Kim Il Sung Square in Pyongyang. Now it serves for various state parades, rallies and events organized by the authorities. Another point on the route is the Triumphal Arch, which is one of the impressive architectural structures of the capital.
On June 1, tourists will visit the Taesong park area. This is a large natural reserve in the DPRK and a popular place for recreation and ecotourism with a unique flora and fauna, where you can see rare species of animals and plants. Here you can admire the picturesque landscapes with mountains, forests, waterfalls and mountain rivers. On the same day, tourists will be offered to relax in the Munsu water park, which offers a wonderful view of the mountains.
Another location of the tour is the Moranbong Zoo. It is home to local and exotic animals: tigers, elephants, bears and various species of birds.
In the Museum of Natural History of Kim Il Sung University, tourists will be able to see exhibits from various fields of natural sciences - paleontology, mineralogy, petrography, botany and zoology.
Another interesting object is the Juche Idea Monument, which is the emblem of the Workers' Party of Korea. There is also an observation deck from which you can admire the city.
