The press service of the national Park "Krasnoyarsk Pillars" reported on the results of the raid, which was conducted by employees of the security department of the institution. They found no traces of bears in the recreational area, as well as in the special protection zone. The movements of these large predators are not recorded by the installed camera traps.
Thus, it can be concluded that the bears have gone to their dens for the winter. This usually happens in mid-October. However, this year, due to the prolonged warm autumn, the snow cover was established later than the usual dates. Therefore, until recently, bears were active in the special protection zone of the national park.
Now that nothing threatens the visitors of the national park, the previously imposed ban on visiting the special protection zone has been lifted. The Security Department has resumed issuing permits for the right to stay in this territory.
