Visitors to the exhibition-forum "Russia" at VDNH learned about tourist offers, cultural, historical and natural attractions of the Arkhangelsk region. Sergey Mishin, head of the regional Center for Tourism and Culture Development, told the guests about what attracts travelers to Pomerania and what impressions they can get there. This was reported by the Travel portal of the Arkhangelsk region.
"During his speech, Sergey Mishin recalled what the Arkhangelsk region is famous for - its fascinating nature, the boundless expanses of the White Sea, and preserved traditions. Muscovites and residents of other regions have learned a lot of new things: where the longest karst caves are located, how and when you can see the northern lights in the region, why a trip to Pomerania can become bright and unforgettable," the message says.
Pomerania has four national parks, 2,241 cultural heritage sites, six natural monuments, and 112 specially protected natural territories. There are over two hundred hotels in the Arkhangelsk region to accommodate tourists.
According to Mishin, the region has developed a route "Road to the Russian North", thanks to which, traveling along the M-8 highway, you can see cultural heritage monuments, northern villages, and natural attractions.
"Four days of the tour route through the Pomeranian land include 550 kilometers of impressions, more than 20 points of inspiration and two coasts of the White Sea," said the head of the center, quoted by the portal.
