The press service of the Ministry of Economic Development has published updated lists of tour operators that will be able to carry out visa-free group tourist trips with Iran this year. At the moment, they include more than 300 Russian and about 200 Iranian tour operators.
The mechanism of visa-free group tourist exchanges can be used by tourist groups of from five to fifty people formed by tour operators from the lists.
The department noted that applications for inclusion in the lists for the next period will be accepted in November-December of this year.
Earlier it was reported that the system of group visa-free trips between Russia and Iran contributes to the increase in tourist flow. According to the Ministry of Economic Development, by the end of the year, the mutual tourist flow within the framework of the visa-free agreement may amount to about 40 thousand tourists.
