Russian Railways has announced a festive campaign dedicated to International Women's Day - tickets for ladies to travel on March 8 on Sapsan and some other trains are sold at a discount.

"On March 8, we will give all travelers a 20% discount on trips on Sapsan trains and some high-speed Swallows. The promotion also applies to a number of tourist trains: Ruskealsky Express, Uralsky Express, Pereslavsky Express, Bobrenok and others," according to the Telegram channel of Russian Railways.

As noted in the company, the discount will be applied automatically when buying a ticket. For example, if a ticket to the basic class of Sapsan No. 780 costs 3494 rubles, then taking into account the discount it will cost 2795 rubles.

"You can apply for such travel documents now on our website, in the Russian Railways Passengers mobile application and at the ticket offices," the message says.
