The press service of the Kuzbass government announced the opening of the Birch Grove eco-park in Kiselevsk. The area for the project was chosen by local residents by voting.

In total, almost 18.5 thousand square meters of Birch Grove were landscaped. There are hiking trails on the territory, a 1.5 km roller ski track is paved, and there is a recreation area near a forest lake with a pier. On one of the slopes there is a place for tubing, equipped with a cable car and a baby lift. Also in the grove there are children's playgrounds, sports and workout areas.

The message notes that the eco-park has been illuminated and video surveillance with facial recognition and a powerful audio system has been installed.
In addition, a scientific and educational meteorological site has been installed in the eco-park, which will be useful in organizing ski competitions and for schoolchildren’s research work. The project provides a large platform for holding mass city events, and there is ample parking. By the end of December, it is also planned to modernize the ski base in Berezovaya Roshcha, which has existed here since 1973.
