On Yagry Island in Severodvinsk, on the shore of the White Sea, a family recreation park with an equipped beach and a rental point for sports equipment, umbrellas and sun loungers will appear. This was reported by the Travel portal of the Arkhangelsk region.
"The project "Summer Beach: A Family recreation Park on the shore of the White Sea" is aimed at developing one of the points of the national tourist route "Arkhangelsk: The Arctic begins here". He received support within the framework of a grant competition for the development of tourism, held in 2023 by the Ministry of Culture of the Arkhangelsk Region together with the regional Center for the Development of Tourism and Culture," the message reads.
Wooden paths, an observation deck, a ramp and a descent to the shore for people with limited mobility have already been equipped on the coastal territory next to residential buildings. There are wooden swings and Scandinavian-style beach cabins for changing clothes. And soon the coast will be decorated with "Cod" — a rental point for sports and beach equipment in the form of a large fish.
"Already in the summer season of 2024, vacationers will be able to rent sun loungers, wooden tables and chairs, beach umbrellas, use the services of luggage storage and a cafe organized in converted shipping containers. Lighting and video surveillance systems will operate in the park to create a safe environment," the portal reported.
The authors of the project plan to create a public space that will form a standard of quality for family outdoor recreation. In addition, the recreation park will help reduce the anthropogenic load on the Yagrin forest.
The idea is being implemented within the framework of the national project "Tourism and the hospitality Industry" by a team of entrepreneurs.
The Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation has announced that nine ski resorts in Russia will receive 31.8 billion rubles in support as part of the "Tourism and Hospitality Industry" national project. These funds can be invested in infrastructure development
