The press service of the Ministry of Economic Development reported that 17 regions of the country will receive an additional 200 million rubles for the implementation of tourism projects. These include the Chukotka and Nenets districts, Yakutia and the Magadan region.
The funds will be allocated within the framework of a single subsidy provided for by the national project "Tourism and Hospitality Industry". In 2024, such a subsidy will be sent to the regions for the first time. It is expected that additional financial support will allow territories with a small tourist flow to support more initiatives.
Additional funds, in particular, will be received by the Republic of Komi, Yakutia, the Magadan Region, the Jewish Autonomous Region, the Nenets and Chukotka Autonomous Districts. In Yakutia, thanks to such support, grants will be issued for the creation of electronic travel guides, mobile applications and audio guides will be created. It is also planned to equip the tourist center of Yakutsk and hold a winter festival. Support for the creation of campsites will be increased in the Magadan region.
"A single subsidy can be directed to the development of beaches and national tourist routes, the purchase of tourist equipment and equipment, the creation of campsites and car camps, the construction of non-capital berthing facilities, festivals and the design of the tourist code of city centers," the message says.
