Tourist trains will run on new routes in the next year and a half
The world's first nuclear icebreaker "Lenin", on the basis of which the Arctic Exhibition Center "Atomic Icebreaker "Lenin" operates, is undergoing scheduled dock repairs, reports FSUE Atomflot.
"The nuclear icebreaker Lenin is the property of our state. We take care of this vessel, and once every 10 years we are obliged to inspect and dock it. The vessel is now docked for routine maintenance. We plan to paint the underwater, surface parts of the hull and the cabin of the icebreaker," the company said.
It is expected that the nuclear icebreaker Lenin will be in dock for about a month, and approximately no later than September 14 it will return to the parking lot in Murmansk.
