The Arctic Epic and Arts Center to be open in 2025 in Yakutsk

The construction of the Arctic Epic and Arts Center is scheduledto be completed in Yakutsk in 2024, and its commissioning is scheduled for 2025. This was announced at a meeting withRussian President Vladimir Putin by the head of Yakutia, AisenNikolaev.

"We are building the Arctic Epic and Arts Center andthe State Philharmonic on our own. This year we are finishing itsconstruction, next year we will introduce it," he said. 

The ArcticCenter in Yakutsk will become one of the largest culturalcomplexes not only in the Far East, but also throughout Russia.The area of the building is 33 thousand square meters, the height is 36 meters, the number of floors is seven.

The buildingwill house the State Philharmonic, the Olonkho Theater and the Sakha Academic Theater. The total capacity of the auditoriumswill be 1,530 seats.
