Conditions for granting subsidies for the construction of modular hotels have been simplified for investors in the Far East, the Arctic and the Far North. The decree on amendments to the state program "Tourism Development" was signed by the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin.
The decision is related to the remoteness of the territories from the centers of production of modular structures and the high cost of their delivery.
State support will help support investors implementing projects for a comfortable stay for tourists and creating additional places of residence for traveling citizens, according to the official website of the government of the Russian Federation.
Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the government to finalize the conditions for granting subsidies to the regions that are part of the Far Eastern Federal District and the Arctic Zone to support projects to create modular non-capital accommodation facilities following a working trip in January to the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug and Khabarovsk Territory.
