Arkhangelsk region developing projects in the field of industrial tourism

A session on the development of industrial tourism in the Arkhangelsk Region with the participation of representatives of regional ministries and departments, government agencies, industrial enterprises and the business community was held at the Regional Development Agency.

Within the framework of the event, technological maps of excursions and projects of potential industrial tours developed by business entities were presented. Projects in the field of industrial tourism are designed to become one of the key factors for increasing the investment potential of the region, raising the prestige of workers and technical professions and promoting locally  products.

The program is aimed at attracting young people to the industry, ensuring the technological sovereignty of Russian industrial enterprises and developing technological potential for export, the Center for Tourism and Culture Development of the Arkhangelsk Region reported.

The program is implemented by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives and the St. Petersburg Center of Competence in the Field of Tourism and Hospitality with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.
