An entrepreneur from Arkhangelsk plans to build an all-season resort with a ski slope using the preferential regime of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation and free land under the Hektar program. This was reported by the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic (KRDV) on its website.

Project manager Vyacheslav Rudalev has already received plots on the main hill of the Arkhangelsk region - Krasnaya Gorka, where he plans to equip ski slopes, hotels and restaurants.

“Vyacheslav plans to install eco-friendly modular all-season houses with terraces and barbecues for evenings alone with nature, as well as an administrative building on this view area. Vyacheslav calls the concept of a "clear horizon" a distinctive feature of the project - a one-story building will not close the sky, there will also be no hanging wires, only underground communications. The houses will be placed on the slope in a checkerboard pattern at different heights so that they do not block each other's view to the horizon," the KRDV noted.

It is also planned to equip a modern ski slope with new lifts and artificial lighting. Cross-country skiing trails and snowmobile safaris will also be organized. “Summer on Krasnaya Gorka will be no less full of offers for outdoor enthusiasts: fishing, rafting and kayaking, hiking in protected areas, mountain biking, quad biking and much more,” the report says.

Vyacheslav Rudalev has already held negotiations with surrounding tourism projects - agreements have been reached on cooperation in organizing excursions and compiling a combined adventure menu for travelers. Final preparations for construction are underway.

According to the project leader, travelers and residents of the Arkhangelsk region will be attracted not only by the largest inhabited slope in the region, but also by more stable weather in the winter season than in the Khibiny.

“This place is famous for its unique nature. Rare species of birds, plants and wild animals can be found in the forests. In addition, the new resort will give guests the opportunity to visit a reindeer camp, a husky sled dog kennel, where you can ride reindeer and dogs. They will be open all year round,” the KRDV said.

In the immediate vicinity of the future resort is the Krasnogorsk Monastery - a popular attraction that attracts travelers. The entrepreneur also noted the convenient transport accessibility of these places - the Arkhangelsk-Pinega-Mezen highway is currently being reconstructed.

“Now, more than ever, there is a trend towards domestic tourism, as well as a demand for a new level of quality and an integrated approach. It is such a tourist cluster that we are now creating with partners,” Rudalev was quoted by KRDV.
