The roadmap for the promotion of ethnographic tours was developed following the results of a seminar-meeting of industry experts held in Novy Urengoy, the Department of Indigenous Peoples of the North of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District reported in its telegram channel.

The participants discussed natural and recreational resources for the development of tourism in the region and the main trends in the field of Arctic and ethnographic tourism using the example of large Russian travel companies specializing in culture, everyday life and traditions of the peoples of the North.
The event was attended by experts from the Project Office for the Development of Domestic Tourism. This year, the specialists will meet again, but this time
remotely.
