The opening of the Valla-Tunturi tourism cluster on the territory of the Kola Peninsula is scheduled for 2032, the Ministry of Information Policy of the Murmansk Region reported.

The Valla-Tunturi integrated tourism project, which is invested by PJSC MMC Norilsk Nickel, is being implemented by Vasta Discovery. The project includes various accommodation facilities – hotels and park hotels, as well as infrastructure for natural, military-historical and sports tourism.

"The necessary land plots have already been leased, design and survey work is underway. The start of operation of the tourist project facilities is scheduled for 2032, but the information center and the first stage of the Whale Coast Park Hotel have already been commissioned, and the construction of the second stage is being completed," the ministry said in a press release.

The cost of creating the Walla-Tunturi tour cluster is estimated at 27.8 billion rubles.
