Appointed a new director of the Center for Tourism Development in the Polar Urals

Olga Filippenkova has been appointed the new managing director of the Center for Tourism Development in the Polar Urals. Previously, she held the position of director for strategic development of the Krasnaya Polyana resort in Sochi, the press service of the center reported.

"Olga Filipenkova is a laureate of the Russian Government's tourism award for the implementation of the integrated resort concept, within the framework of which it was possible to create a comprehensive mountain resort of a new type," the press-release says.

Filippenkova has been engaged in the strategic development of tourist territories for 15 years. At her new place of work, she is expected to popularize tourism in Yamal and comprehensively promote the tourism brand of the region.
