Heritage hotel in Bruges, Belgium, won the prestigious World Luxury Hotel Awards 2019 in the category of the best "Luxury Romantic Hotel (Global)".
The award has been awarded annually since 2006 and is considered the most prestigious international award for hotels with the highest level of service. Candidates are evaluated in more than 100 nominations.
This year, the Finnish Lapland hosted a ceremony to announce the winners.
Located in the historic centre of Bruges, hotel is a part of the prestigious Relais and Chateaux hotel chain. The hotel has only twenty-two rooms, including two suites. The restaurant "Le Mystique" and Wellness centre are also located under its roof.
Spouses Johan and Isabel Kreitens are the owners of the hotel, they have already won nine prestigious hotel awards in the past four years.
