The ALROSA Environmental Center announced the launch of the literary and art contest “The Well of Fairy Tales”.
Students aged from 6 to 15 can take part in the competition. To participate, they need to send a literary work of their own composition - a fairy tale, a story or stories - with an illustration on topics such as nature, animals, natural phenomena and space.
Entries for the competition are accepted by e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org until May 31. The works should include: 1-2 pages in A4 format, Times New Roman, size - 12, line spacing - 1.15, all margins - 20 mm, alignment - width. When checking in the Anti-Plagiarism program, the percentage of text uniqueness should be at least 80%. Scanned texts of fairy tales in jpg, tif, pdf and other formats, and presentations in Power Point are not allowed.
The illustration can be done in any graphic technique - watercolor, gouache, pastel, art oil, colored pencils. The picture should be in A4 format and contain the name of the participant and the name of the tale. Requirements for scanned drawings:
- image format JPEG, JPG;
- color image 24 bits with a resolution of 150 to 300 dpi;
- the image size is not more than 700 pixels wide (at least 1200 pixels on one side);
- image size no more than 8 Mb.
Until July 1 everyone will be able to leave a vote for their favorite work on the page of the contest. The best works will be included in the book “The Well of Fairy Tales”.
