Kamchatka's Ecologists to Vie for Geyser Expedition Prize

The press service of the Kronotsky State Biosphere Reserve has announced the "Ecologist of the Year" competition in Kamchatka. The winners of the competition will have the opportunity to embark on an unforgettable journey to the geysers of the Valley of Geysers.

The competition is held in three nominations:

• "Eco-responsibility" - for enterprises implementing projects in the field of environmental protection.
• "Eco-leader" - for the best environmental activists, volunteers and public environmental inspectors.
• "Eco-education" - for environmental projects in the field of education, culture and enlightenment.

Applications are accepted until May 15.

"This competition is a great opportunity for Kamchatka residents to learn more about their unique nature and make their contribution to its preservation," – noted the Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Kamchatka Krai Vladimir Ilyukhin.
