Youth Forum for Taimyr activists to be held in Norilsk and Dudinka

The IV Youth Forum of Indigenous Peoples of the North of the Krasnoyarsk Territory will be held in Norilsk and Dudinka from August 6 to 10, Severny Gorod reports.

Young representatives of indigenous peoples from all over the Krasnoyarsk Territory will discuss the development of tourism, ethno-tourism in the northern territories of the region.

The event will be attended by speakers and experts in the field of tourism development. In addition, the organizers provide various entertainment events.

On August 6–8 the forum will be held in Norilsk, and on August 9–10 the forum will continue in Dudinka.

“According to the regulations on the forum, until July 15, the organizers of the event collected questionnaires - applications for participation. In total, more than 70 questionnaires were received. The Youth Council selected 50 participants from among them, who will come to the forum. These are the leaders of the youth formations of Norilsk, Dudinka, Taimyr villages, from Evenkia, Turukhansk and Krasnoyarsk,” Anfisa Nikiforova, head of the department for work with indigenous peoples of the regional projects department of Norilsk Nickel, quoted the publication as saying.

The organizer of the IV Youth Forum of Indigenous Minorities of the North of the Krasnoyarsk Territory is the Youth Council of the Association of Indigenous Minorities of Taimyr, and the general partner of the event is Nornickel.
