During the round table "The Nature of the Ancient Bosporus", held as part of the All-Russian Ecological Regatta "Sails of the Bosporus", proposals were made to involve yachting in the development of safe ecological tourism in federal specially protected natural areas and the creation of interregional tour routes.
The regatta started on Friday at the Pearl Center for Environmental Education of the Utrish State Nature Reserve and ended on September 20 in Gelendzhik.
The regatta program included an exciting sailing adventure on cruising yachts and MX700 yachts, day and night crossings on the Black Sea and visits to amazing ancient monuments of nature and culture, the press service of the event reported.
On the first day of the event, the teams went from Utrish to Gelendzhik. And on Saturday and Sunday there was a series of yachts of various classes.
Yachts from Utrish, Zapovedny Kryma, Sochi National Park and the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia took part in the MX700 class. According to the results of the “Sails of the Bospora” regatta, the team of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia won in the MX700, and the team of the Navigator yacht won in the cruising class.
This year the project "Golden Ring of the Bosporus Kingdom" was expanded at the expense of the subproject "Nature of the Bosporus Kingdom", which included the "Sochi National Park", the "Utrish" reserve and the united directorate "Reserved Crimea". The goal of the project is to draw attention to the unique natural and historical sites of the ancient Bosporus.
The event is held by the Black Sea Association for the Development of Yacht Tourism and Sports with the support of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation.
