The World Bank named Thailand as the most affected country due to the coronavirus epidemic.

The World Bank estimates Thailand's financial losses as a result of the crisis in the country's tourism industry at a quarter of the national GDP. According to experts, Mexico, Spain, Italy, Turkey and China are also expected to see a comparable drop in the main indicator of the state of the economy.

The World Tourism Organization previously called 2020 the worst year for tourism in the last 70 years. The organization expects that the COVID-19 pandemic will reduce the total number of people traveling around the world by 20-30%.
