Winnie the Pooh is engaged in environmental education in Moscow parks

Famous cartoon characters - Gena the Crocodile, Cheburashka, Winnie the Pooh, Mowgli and others will show the rules of environmentally friendly behavior using educational banners that will be placed in the parks of the capital.

There are already such stands on the theme «Let's Save the Planet Together! Take care of nature» with the heroes of «Soyuzmultfilm», which is the initiator of the action, are placed at the main entrance to the park «Krasnaya Presnya».

“Thus, Mowgli talks about the rules of behavior with fire, the heroes of the films «The Adventures of Peter and the Wolf» and «The Return of the Prodigal Parrot» - about sorting of garbage, Gena the Crocodile, Cheburashka, the heroes of «Winnie the Pooh» call on to protect wildlife, the heroes of «Orange cows» and the «Hedgehog in the fog» ask to save the forest, and the «Lion and the Turtle» - to protect the rivers and water reservoirs. Wolf from “Well, wait!”, Characters from «Bremen Town Musicians» and Cat Matroskin from “Prostokvashino” remind about reasonable energy consumption, parking rules and participation in subbotniks, ”the Soyuzmultfilm press service told EcoTourism Expert.

The film studio is holding this action in support of the international children's and youth award of Rosprirodnadzor «Ecology is everyone's business». This competition is being held for the first time in Russia and is aimed at environmental education of young people. It is attended by children from 7 to 16 years old from all over the world.

In addition, as part of a joint project of the Soyuzmultfilm studio and Rosprirodnadzor, master classes on assembling birdhouses and bird feeders are planned in a separate pavilion of Krasnaya Prenya Park, and in the spring of 2022, a city cleanup will be held here in the challenge format.
