The press service of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Republic reported that during the event, volunteers collected garbage on the Baduk Lakes eco-trail in the Teberdinsky National Park. Despite the fact that the trail is constantly maintained and cleaned, the volunteers found debris in the most unusual places, for example, in the hollow of a tree.
A series of actions to clean up the banks of rivers in Karachay-Cherkessia will end on November 15. Until that moment, the volunteers will walk along the banks of the Kuban, Duut, Khudes, Uchkulan and Mahar rivers.
On November 10, a large-scale "General Cleaning" is planned in the Prikubansky District, which will also include the "Water of Russia" campaign.
Participants discussed the boundary between nature and ecotourism, whether mass visits to unique areas can remain safe, the responsibilities of investors, and how to prepare tourists for visiting specially protected natural areas.
The head of state expressed confidence that the Forum will be held at a high level, and that its results will contribute to the development of tourism in Russia and the expansion of humanitarian and business ties.
