Vietnam Airlines has confirmed that it is increasing flights to India, and will operate one flight per day between the two countries from 26 March 2023. From that date, the national carrier will operate 4 flights per week on the Hanoi - New Delhi route, departing on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, and 3 flights per week on the Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) - New Delhi route, departing on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
With this new frequency, the number of flights between Vietnam and India will escalate by 30% compared to the current flight schedule, reflecting the growing demand for passenger and cargo transport between the two countries.
In recent years, India has become one of Vietnam's leading trade partners, especially in tourism, and the airline has plans to further expand its network by launching flights to Mumbai.
To celebrate the increase in connectivity, Vietnam Airlines is offering low-priced round-trip tickets, including taxes and fees. The offer applies to tickets purchased until 31 December 2023, departing between 26 March and 31 December 2023.
