The tourism department of the Belgorod region reported that street theaters, immersive shows, and numerous carolers will work at the festival site. Guests are also waiting for contests and drawings, quizzes and other interactive programs.
The central part of the holiday will be the treat with dumplings. The festival will feature unique recipes for dumplings with unusual fillings. The tasting will be accompanied by a creative presentation, which will be evaluated by the members of the expert commission. The authors of the most delicious dumplings and the best presentations will receive an award.
“A special feature of this year will be the preparation of dumplings according to the recipes of all 89 subjects of the Russian Federation. Already now the regions are sending their signature recipes, according to which chefs will cook and treat everyone on January 14,” the press service said.
Tourists will also be able to join free introductory tours of the festival sites or sightseeing tours of the historical center of Belgorod. There will also be a free bus tour of the city.
Participants discussed the boundary between nature and ecotourism, whether mass visits to unique areas can remain safe, the responsibilities of investors, and how to prepare tourists for visiting specially protected natural areas.
The head of state expressed confidence that the Forum will be held at a high level, and that its results will contribute to the development of tourism in Russia and the expansion of humanitarian and business ties.
