The Viking village "Kaup" of the Kaliningrad region invites you for a visit on January 2, 4, 6 and 8 to spend the New Year holidays in a medieval atmosphere.
Visitors are offered to travel back to the 9th-11th centuries, feel like a real Viking, learn about the life and crafts of the inhabitants of a medieval settlement, listen to stories about the military campaigns of this era.
In addition, the guests will have the opportunity to taste traditional dishes, master the basics of drill training, shoot a bow, learn how to make a fire using a chair, flint and tinder, try blacksmithing, tell fortunes on the runes, learn the ancient secrets of needlework, take part in medieval games.
Fans of mysticism and mystery will be able to enjoy the fiery dance of the Valkyries and read fortunes in the medieval tavern with witches.
The Viking village "Kaup" is a reconstruction of an early medieval settlement, which was built on the type of a Danish military fortress of the 9th-11th centuries.
It is located in the area of the village of Romanovo, Zelenogradsky District, Kaliningrad Region.
