The Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic (KRDV) announced on its website the start of the ski season at the updated "Kholdomi" ski resort in the Khabarovsk Territory. The slopes, certified by the International Ski Federation for competitions in most disciplines of alpine skiing and snowboarding, welcomed their first guests on November 20.

As noted by KRDV, "Kholdomi" was the first in the Far East to open the season. "We welcome lovers of mountain sports and travelers with new snowy slopes, cable cars equipped with warm rest areas even at the highest points, cozy hotels, and cafes," the corporation quotes the general director of "GLK Kholdomi," Andrey Olefirenko.

As the message states, the resort is located in the advanced development territory (ADT) "Khabarovsk".

Residents of the site have built and put into operation new ski slopes with a total length of 25 km of various difficulty levels from "green" to "black," KRDV noted.

In addition, a ski infrastructure has been launched, including a modern gondola lift and an artificial snowmaking system. A heated rest area with an observation deck and a cafe has been built at the upper station of the chairlift.

According to the corporation, the residents of the "Kholdomi" site plan to build a water and wellness complex, including an open heated pool, a children's pool, Finnish saunas, a Roman bath, a gym, and treatment rooms, as well as a new hotel and restaurant complex.

KRDV is assisting residents by building energy infrastructure facilities for the "Kholdomi" site. In addition, ADT residents enjoy tax benefits and the ability to use free customs zone mechanisms.
