Tourists will be able to go on a gastro tour to the Kuban on the "wine train"

In June next year, Russian Railways will launch the first gastrotourist train, which will take you on a trip to the best wineries in Taman and Novorossiysk.

The four-day cruise will begin on June 9, 2023. The tour package will include rail transportation, a guided tour program, transfers and meals.

Russian Railways reported that the train would become a real "hotel on wheels" for travelers. During the day, tourists can go on excursions, and in the evening and at night they can relax in comfortable carriages Lux, SV or compartment. In addition, a dining car will operate on the train.

During the trip, tourists will be able to visit the six largest wineries and vineyards of the Krasnodar Territory, taste various varieties of wines, cheeses, try snails and partridges.

In Taman, travelers will visit the oenology center Chateau Tamagne, the Kuban-Vino complex and the Phanagoria winery. Tourists will be told about the technological processes of wine production, they will show the cellar and aging rooms in oak barrels. In addition, those who wish can visit the observation deck "Crimean Bridge".

In Novorossiysk, tourists will walk around the Myskhako CUVE winery, see a snail farm and a gravity winery in the CHATEAU PINOT agrotourist complex, and visit the Abrau-Dyurso wine tourism center.
