The director of the company organizing the trip was detained.

A tourist group of ten people and two guides arrived at Klyuchevskaya Sopka on August 30th. It included residents of seven regions of the Russian Federation, including Novosibirsk, Vladimir regions, Altai, Primorsky and Kamchatka regions. On September 3, having reached the mark of 4150 meters, six people fell from a height and died.

The Investigative Committee reported that as a result, according to data at 15:00 Moscow time, nine out of twelve tourists died.
